Kevin Patel, DMD
Dr. Kevin Patel is a Moore County native who grew up and now currently resides in Whispering Pines with his wife Dr. Sheena Neil. His dream was to come back to the town he grew up in and open a dental practice to serve his community. Dr. Patel is a Farm Life, New Century and Union Pines graduate. After graduating high school he went on to obtain two bachelor degrees from North Carolina State University in Chemistry and Animal Science.
After graduating from NC State University, Dr. Patel was enrolled in the second class of East Carolina University's School of Dental Medicine. There he was taught by a wonderful staff in the brand new state-of-the-art facility. Upon receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine at ECU he was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Veterans Affair Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.
Dr. Patel has since returned to Moore County and worked in the area before taking over the practice.
Sheena Neil, DMD
Dr. Sheena Neil (Patel) grew up in Raleigh, NC and currently lives in Whispering Pines with her husband, Dr. Kevin Patel, her dog, Baxter, and the new addition to their family, their son, James Caleb. Dr. Neil attended undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill receiving her bachelors in Biology, minoring in Chemistry and Spanish.
After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, Dr. Neil was part of the inaugural class at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, NC. In fact, Dr. Patel and Dr. Neil met during Dr. Patel's orientation in dental school. Upon receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine at ECU she was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at ECU at the Community Service Learning Center in Ahoskie, NC. There she received advanced training in surgery, endodontics and implant placement and restoration. Dr. Neil is certified in Invisalign and offers it in the practice.
When not in the office, Dr. Neil loves staying at home with her baby boy, doing Zumba at the fitness center or trying her hand at tennis and golf.
