Hi, I am Caroline, Dr. McGee's assistant since 2010. I began a career in dentistry in 1974 and still enjoy it as much today. I have also been a paramedic for 21 years . In my time away from work, I love cooking, gardening, and going to Cancun, Mexico with my husband, Tom.
Dr. Shannon McGee has been a practicing dentist for over twenty years. His interest in TMJ disorders and headache pain goes back almost to the beginning of his practice in the US Army. He added sleep disorder therapy to his practice after seeing the need for a compact and effective treatment for soldiers deploying overseas where CPAP would not work. After retiring from the US Army, Dr. McGee opened a limited private practice dedicated to the treatment of patients with snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, as well as TMJ and headache pain patients. Dr. McGee is a Diplomat of the American Board of General Dentistry and the Federal Services Board of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He lives in Southern Pines with his wife and two daughters.
